I have these stools

They started life as vinyl pleather type stools, but the kids tore them up, so I replaced that with purple fuzzy shag type material, which is now flat and matted.  I don't know how to clean it, so I am wondering...

does anyone know of an easy clean fabric that I can use for something that doesn't go in the washing machine?

Could you find material that goes on outdoor furniture? That is suppose to be easy to clean. I was going to go to Joann's or Hancock fabrics this week because I want to re-do my dining room chairs again, I'll have to see if there is anything like that for myself.

I would go back to the vinyl or do a slip cover type deal with elastic and you can just slip it off and into the wash.

My couch is micro-something, it feels like velour. It cleans soooo easy that it makes me wanna give a high-five everytime it gets dirty.

I almost think a fabric with PUL would work. It's usually easy to clean and water resistant.

Vinyl is easy to wipe and if it's white you can use Soft Scrub or a Magic Eraser for tougher stains.

Hmmm, I wonder if a slip cover would work.  I'll try it, thanks!
