Posted by   + Show Post
I have a 8 yr old dd & a baby due in Dec. Dd has tons of small toys (Polly pocket, monster high parts, lala loopsy, etc) once lil sis can crawl how can I keep the choking hazards contained?
I need to get organized to start with & since dd has been a only child she hasn't had alot of responsibility until just recently. Please keep suggestions kind. Thanks.

I use the rubber maid crates and have a special table for toys with little pieces

Just start teaching and doing it with her now that putting her toys away is a rule. Be sure not to make it because of the new baby though. Bins for toys is a really good idea and I agree with see through. Although I stopped a long time ago with making sure everything was in the right bin.
