A few quick vacuuming tips- do you have any to add?
Make it Easy on Yourself:
Clear a path, change the vacuum bag, remove any hair from the nozzles, motorhead or brush bar. Also, make sure to wipe down any windowsills first with a dry or damp cloth (depending on the level of dirt). These little things take up your time and prevent you from being efficient. If your vacuum loses suction halfway through due to a full bag, you might not want to finish at all.
Use Your Tools:
Using tools can help get tougher jobs done quickly. For instance, make sure to use the proper attachment when vacuuming the stairs and getting near the baseboards. Vacuum window sills with the brush attachment. Dust your entire area before you even begin, that way you are not chasing dust that has been released into the air post-vacuum.
It’s All in the Hips:
Make sure to vacuum carpets in both direction for maximum cleaning. This reduces allergens and dust in your rug and keeps everyone healthier.
