I am renting and apartment, and my DD accidentally dropped nail polish on the carpet. Pink on a tanish color.

How do i remove it?!

Any non-acetone finger nail polish remover will take that off and not hurt the carpet. Take a paper towel soak it down a little and wipe it off. Try to keep the area contained that you rub, at first it will look like you are smearing it around, just keep changing paper towels with a new one until stain is gone. You need to change your cloth several times so you're not sliding polish over a bigger area. When done a liquid dish soap will get the smell out of the carpet.

Soak the area with non acetone nail polish remover and use a stiff bristle brush to "comb" it out. It will take a couple of rounds but it is 100% possible! My dd did something similar with green polish right after we bought our brand new build house.

Yes, it takes a ill time because you want to be gentle, to not spread it. Unfortunatley, my daughter has gotten many things on our carpets over the years so I'm kind of a pro at stain removal. Hahah
