I moved from a HUGE kitchen to a smaller kitchen.....I have so much stuff that I still can't unpack it all LOL  worst part is I have 4 drawers.  The 10 cabinets I do have....have no shelves in them (little diy project)

How do you make the most out of your kitchen space?

For a long cabinet in my kitchen, I took 3 wooden half crates and glued coaster wheels to the bottom of the crates. My dh calls it my "subway in the cupboard".

This is my exact issue!!! I love love to cook and now due to lack of counter top and space....I dread going in there!

Oy. I feel your pain. My current kitchen is the size of my former walk-in closet. We have two drawers, 5 cupboards, and a "pantry" shelf. We used to have a lot more space, and I can honestly say that my love of cooking has suffered since we moved into this place. I feel cramped and uninspired in this kitchen.

These ideas are definetly giving me ideas of what to try. We are kinda screwed with no pantry so maximizing little space is what I'm stuck doing. I will get pictures when my little man goes to sleep but to give a general layout of the kitchen

Above fridge, sink, and stove are those tiny cabinets, then the corner area....is 2 seperate cabinets...it doesn't make like a corner cabinet same with below.....whats labeled cabinet is the counter top space as well there is 1 cabinet above and below and the above cabinets by the fridge and entry way are half the size of  the other 2 cabinets....the drawers are under each cabinet and I had to make 1 drawer into a spice drawer BUT my husband just bought me a spice rack so that can go now!  Hope this helps! Eventually where the washer and dryer are will EVENTUALLY become a nice pantry until then though this is what I'm working with!

Downsizing, lots of baskets, using all spaces available! We put shelves over the doorways for cookbooks, we made a wall rack for spices, I keep appliances that are rarely used in the laundry room, I created a wine area in my dining room to keep fancier glasses in there, and we built a pantry into our laundry room!

That looks exactly like my kitchen layout when I moved in. I hated it! Good luck my solution to the problem was a complete gut job and new layout.

Mine is similar to that.. The same as the cabinet to cabinet part. No room for a table and a fridge at the wall next to the entryway. And a little more counter space next to it and where your table is. And no washer and dryer in there

I am still working on the kitchen!!!  My dining table is a bit big so it takes up my extra floor space.....I can't part with it though....first thing we bought after we got married and its to beautiful to part with. So I've limited myself so more BUT the process of transferring the washer and dryer to the mud room off of the garage is underway, which will turn the "closet" its in into a pretty good size pantry. We did pick up shelving for the cabinets (it was missing in every cabinet except 1 when we moved in) I think we are going to take the cabinets and counter out by the entry way and put in 1 big tall pantry like cabinet with some modifications to it. Then I will be looking for a cart to put extra counter top on to make a "roll away island" and it will be able to go in the pantry when not being used. I am in the process of looking for crates or something to put rollers on and put in the bottom of the cabinets..... Thanks for all the ideas!!!  Now trying to maximize the upper cabinet space is gonna be challenging they are half the size of regular cabinets!

I got rid of 90% of my tupperware and most of my pots and pans.  I now have 3 pans and 3 pots, also 2 or 3 cookie sheets and a couple roasting pans.  All other non-necessities are gone.  I hang my utensils on the wall instead of having them clutter counter space or drawer space and it actually doesn't look too bad.
