Probably because she knows I am self conscious about my home, though I have never said so much.  Porsche's best friend's grandmother stopped by and left some clothes (mostly for Piper) in my van while I was home.  I LOVE the dress shoes

I feel bad that my home isn't company worthy.  I think she assumes this, which makes me feel sadder :\  But what's worse, is that I think I know when she stopped in and almost checked to see if someone was here but didn't, so now I feel like I ignored her.  The next door dogs were making a giant racket and Granny (next door) was screaming "Shut UUUUUPPPP!!!!  SHUUUTT UUUUUP!!"  *sigh*  I guess she just stood for a while by my van waiting to see if I would spot her and come out, then when I didn't, she left the clothes and went home.

Would you be embarassed by your home if someone stopped in right now?

Probably, but since no one but my mom & dad ever come to visit it really isn`t a consideration.

No, I just deep cleaned yesterday for when my daughters teacher came over to visit. I kept up with it all today so my house it still pretty much spotless.

No, well only if wet diapers are left out. Most anyone who would come by knows my kids and knows there is no way it will ever be spotless here. One good friend says if my house is too clean she feels weird and cant be comfortable-haha!

Don't look into it too much.  She most likey didn't want to bother a busy, pregnant mom with 3 small kids.  That was really sweet of her to bring you the clothes too :)

Tiffany you work really hard, give yourself some credit.

I've been working on making the upstairs rooms always company ready and they are right now.  The downstairs has always been company ready because I have company every day :)

If I know someone is coming over (they usually call first rule of  house or I know in advance they are coming) I clean super crazy. LOL They also know I have kids so it could be messy if they come.

If you really feel that way, you need to change it.  It sounds like your home is taking away your ability to live.  What do you need to change in order to feel good about the home you live in?

Not embarrassed by my house but by my appearance since it's only 715am and I haven't gotten ready for the day yet. LOL
