I like to try to keep my house fairly clean and organized. We have 4 kids 3 are in sports and 2 in band. They tend to leave all their equipment in the dining room. We have tried to have them keep the stuff in their room but it tends to come back to the dining room. Any suggestions on how to store it? Any suggestions would be great. The equipment is football pads and helmets. And big bags.

Yeah but it's not attached to the house. And we need it for fast and easy access because 2 have practice almost everyday and the other one has it 2 dys a week plus Saturday games. Do you think a shelve would look stupid? Or I thought about a bench with a shelve underneath. Put their sports stuff under the bench.
I like the bench idea and if you could find one that opens up you could hide all their gear in it. Out of sight out of mind. lol

I've seen some neat storage racks for the garage.
My daughter is in band but she plays percussion. Since she can't bring her marimba home all she has is a small bag of sticks and mallets :)
My son is in martial arts and he has sooooooooooooooo much crap. It all has to be in his room and most of it (except for his staff) fits in this huge duffel he has. He carries that to class EVERY class. I keep saying I'm going to clean that thing out :P
But yeah it has to go in their rooms. We have to remind Cameron a lot. Even if I take it up there, it goes in his room after every practice.
