kids' rooms

A while back I did a big organizing job on the boys' rooms and never posted pics.  This is my oldest's room.  I didnt change a lot, just straightened.

I did move that white dresser to under his desk.  It was in his closet and he didn't have enough drawer space.  It's working out well now.

This is the big thing I did...almost all of his toys are now in this one corner.  He inherited another shelf from his sister.  It was a lot of moving things from this room to that lol.  And now he just got a new bed so it's different again lol.  The bed is in the same spot but it's a captain's bed. That dresser is now sitting there, empty.  IDK what I'm going to do with it.

 Oh I know!  Sponge Bob is easier because he's neat, like me.  The middle guy is a constant struggle.  Mostly because I need to find ways that work for him, not me, since we are different.  (with the younger one I can do it my way because he organizes like me, make sense?) And I also have to let go and let a little mess happen.  But I'm happy I got his closet looking nice and so is he.

 And just to clarrify...Pam asked for pictures when I mentioned I straightened their rooms and I just never posted them as a reply.  It's not like I think this looks wonderful and I'm showing it off lol.

it DOES look great and I love it when ppl "show it off" .... I like nothing more than seeing how ppl live and decorate, organize etc...

Lol I remember :) it def makes sense that its easier to organize your way, than working with someone else's. When I was growing up, my room was my responsibility, I think its really awesome that you help them AND try to make it work for them!
