When you stay at a B&B, do you do anything differently than at a hotel?
A B&B strikes me as more of a person's home than a hotel room usually does- the owner has personal pride and concern about the room. I pull up the sheets in both places and am careful of pretty quilts. I am always confused about leaving a tip. Is there anything else I should or shouldn't do concerning a B&B room?
I like the personal touch. Mainly when I stay at a B&B, the stay there is a good part of a simple break.
Quoting MamaJane:
I've never stayed in one. I make my bed at a hotel too though.
The b&bs we have stayed at, the people have a seperate living space. joined us for breakfast, are more interested in our lives at home. be sure to bring ur own "complimentary" items (ie:toothbrush) they generally don't provide. As far as tip, we never have given money, but once bought some nice coffee cups for a couple we really enjoyed and stayed several times at their b&b.
