you can just spray a bit of fabric softener on it and toss it back in the dryer for like 20 min with about 3-5 dryer sheets.

wad up a ball of aluminum foil and toss the comforter in the dryer with it on the no heat-fluff setting.

I would put it back in dryer for about 20 minutes with a couple dryer sheets on fluff setting. To remember the dryer sheets, I put them in my pocket with the quarters for the laundry. When I pull out the quarters, the dryer sheets are there and I don't forget.
