How to sterilize and clean a crib

Hi everyone! I am debating on giving my daughters crib to my next child but I want to thoroughly sterilize it before I would put a newborn in it. If I can't I will definitely buy a new one instead of turning it into he'd toddler bed.
Thanks
Victoria

I used Murphy's soap, Clorox bleach wipes, and them washed it again with a wet rag.

use white vinegar. It's a natural disinfectant and works great on wood. mix i cup tp 1 gallon of hot water, you can also add a table spoon of dish soap to help cut anything sticky. the smell disappears when it's dry, no need to rinse
