Gummy residue from price tags

Help. Besides Goo be Gone that you buy from the store, what can I use that I would probably have at home to remove the gummy gunk left behind from price tags and store stickers on my sons new school binders?

goo be gone streaks plastic...bleaches it! baby oil works wonders!!!!!!!....be generous and put some on a wash cloth then keep rubbing....wash the item or wipe down afterwards so it wont be greasy! good luck!

Will these ideas work for glass jars too? I have a number of jars and bottles with sticker residue or stickers I can't get off and would like them off so I can reuse the jars (especially the mason jars I get with the honey I buy).

Any kind of oil based cleaner. A lot of the laundry stain cleaners will work. Spray n Wash is a good one. Good luck.
