Do you store you cups/glasses upside down or right side up.

Because of the shape, I alternate them for space. If possible, down. I believe it's actually better for them (Why, I don't know!) Plus they stay clean.

Coffee mugs and ones that aren't used daily are upside down. The every day cups are right side up so the kids can grab them easier.

I keep mine upside down too becuase it keeps the dust out of them, but my sister keeps her right side up & she says she don't want crumbs on the lid. I say though...how many crumbs are in your cabinet with dishes?!!! LOL, that's just my philosophy though.

I seem to be in the minority. I store mine right side up. It just seems more natural when unloading the dishwasher, plus I figure not much dust can get to them behind a closed cabinet door. Also, my glasses are much thicker/heavier on bottom so storing them upside down would make them top heavy with the more fragile tops against the shelf. I don't store my plates and bowls upside down to keep the dust out so why would my glasses be any different, kwim?
