Cleaning & Organizing Cleaning & Organizing

What homemade wash can I use in place of my glass cleaner, temporarily?

I am all out and its just driving me nuts, does anyone know what I can temporarily use to wash these smudged windows with?  These three little boys love to look out my windows and they are a mess!

Update:  Thank you...I used the newspaper with the vin/water and the windows are cleaner than ever!

Soft water works well too. Vinegar and water is good too. I used to work at a hotel and wash glass showers and if you dry with a pillow case there will be no streaks and no lint

What kind of vinegar?  Can you use the same kind for the floor as windows?  I am going to use the white/clear vinegar for the windows...
