my curtain is fabric so it goes in the washer. I get cheap liners and replace them regularly.

I put my plastic liner in the washing machine with hot water, detergent and vinegar and throw in an old towel or two so they will 'scrub' it.  Then I just take it out of the washer and hang it back up to dry.

Throw them in the washer on gentle cycle.

Decided to do this to the upstairs shower curtains..they are both plastic. I sure hope it turns out okay. This is the kids bathroom and it was nasty. LOL

I wash them down myself and every so often replace them.
