I normally always clean my shower as I'm taking a shower.

Fill up a spray bottle with some diluted vinegar and add some baking soda.

You'll need a brush and a rag.

The heat from the water will start to make the scum ' washable ' . Spray on your vinegar solution and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Use the brush in circular motions and wipe away with the rag.

Repeat as needed.

Yep.  Spray with vinegar.  Let sit.  Then scrub with baking soda.

When I do it, no.  I spray the vinegar and let it sit.  Then I put baking soda on a wet sponge.  It will foam up when it hits the vinegar during the scrub process.

And just a note... When you use baking soda with vinegar it negates vinegar disinfecting qualities.

We just moved and I had this problem!!! I ended having to use lime away toilet bowl cleaner. I know it sounds weird but it worked! I squirted it on and let it sit for a awhile then scrubbed at it with mr clean magic eraser. My guest bathroom I used clr and scrubbed with a magi eraser too. Both showers are now sparkling!!! Going to use the baking soda/vinegar solution from now on though.
