I don't have earrings. No pierced ears.

No earrings here either. DD and I tried but our ears are so sensitive it's a pain to keep "real" earrings in and having to clean them every day without getting them infected. When we tried to have them tho we did use the solution that came when you got your ears peirced.

Stems and backs ... alcohol or peroxide, rinse with water pat dry with paper towel

I have a pair of pewter earrings that I clean with a mix of baking soda and vinegar. Makes them look brand new.

 No. But I don't wear ones with those little backs. I guess mine get cleaned in the shower. I've never had a problem.

I can't wear earrings anymore. My ears are too sensitive. I have tried every kind and I just can't wear them.

I'm the same way.  I wipe mine with alcohol and then I put some cortzone cream on the part that goes through the ear and I can wear the earring for the day without irritation.
