I have had foot issues for a while. As a hair stylist I stand all day long. I have issues with numbness and tingling in my toes, and pain in my feet. I know I have tarsel tunnel in my feet (just like carpel tunnel but in your feet). I have been trying to work my way up a mini marathon in the early spring, but I just can't get past the foot pain to move past 2 miles. Well I broke down and bought a pair of Saucony Kinavara 2 running shoes. They are a minimalist shoe, extemely lightweight, very soft, and have way less "structure" than most running shoes to let you feel more of the road underneath you.
I am in LOVE with this shoe. I have been out in it 4 times and have had NO numbness/tingling and I have enjoyed feeling more of the pavement under my feet. I feel like I am connected to my feet and my sense of balance is better. I LOVE THIS SHOE. I should have spent this money months ago. I would have had such better training runs this summer.
