allergy relief?

I already use a neti pot which works well for my sinuses. my problem now that the trees are blooming and I have itchy watery swollen eyes.  I tried claritin, didn't work.  Any ideas, either for natural treatment or another brand of anti-histimine.

Thanks!

Local raw honey, one tablespoon a day

No dairy

Similisan allergy eye drops (a homeopathic remedy)

Sinusalia tabs (another homeopathic remedy)

You can also try zyrtec (there are plenty of low cost generic versions)

Thanks! I will try the eye drops and the raw local honey first and go from there.

generic Zyrtec has helped in the past but I hate the idea of anti-histamines unless I absolutely need them.  Hopefully I can get off the claritin by doing the eye drops and honey along with the neti pot.

Try butterbur; it is the plant that zyrtec replicates

I'm really sensitive to ragweed and found that eating approx 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil daily eased my symptoms tremendously!

Thanks everyone for all the ideas. I got the eye drops yesterday, I will give them some time to work, so far my eyes are itchy and swollen still.
