Why do researchers say certain food dyes cause behavioral problems??

I think that's what I heard. Is it true?

Yes.  Food dyes, if not naturally from veggies/spices (think beets, turmeric, etc.) are just chemicals.  I've found that eliminating them from our foods resulted in my ADHD son being better able to calm himself.  He thinks more clearly and is more in control of himself.

Kelly has a son that is VERY sensitive to food dyes.  She'll have more to say on this subject when she gets back.

I know a few members in another group that agree, by elminating dyes, especially red, their children behave so much better.

 Very true. The synthetic dyes are made from petroleum! There's a good support group that has lots of research, etc. The link is http://www.feingold.org/

All sorts of food additives can cause/worsen all sorts of problems, like ADD/ADHD, asthma, migraines.

If you feed your family real foods, you don't have to be concerned with this

I have heard about red dye.My middle dd's Dr said not to let her have anything w/ red dye # 40 I think cause it nullified her add meds.

GOD first ppl next things last you cant go wrong and w/ GOD and JESUS around you,you will be a a triple strand rope
