Both, but trying to get away from paper towels little by little. Convincing DH will be hard, though.

I prefer rags for cleaning, coffee filters or newspapers for windows. I do use paper towels to for small spills that I want to clean up quick.

Both, but only because it seems that no matter how many kitchen towels and rags I accumalate, I can never find them. We don't lose socks in our house, we lose kitchen towels.

I use both as well but like Robyn has stated i want to start phasing out paper towels :-)

I have the same problem, I can't EVER find my kitchen towels.

I mostly use paper towels, but I buy the recycled ones. I don't like the way my rags smell after awhile

I'm a naughty bleach user... I've been told I'm not allowed to buy it lol.. I like to use too much, but I will try to remember that!!!

You know what I do so they don't smell bad, soak them in some soapy bleach water. I use white ones so the color doesn't bleed out.
