It seems like its in a lot of foods. Is there really a way to avoid it?

If you don't buy anything boxed from the store, I'm sure. If you get something that has it, try and find some with the least amount.

yup we cut all hfcs and numbers and colors from our diet because my middle soon is very sensitive to . there is a way just read labels and eat clean

Yes.  Buy whole foods and cook from scratch.

I've yet to see an organic food with it. 

The FDA just ruled that they can not call it corn sugar because people tend to think of crystals when referencing sugar. I'm guessing they will powder it soon so be on the look out... but yeah, lets not label GMO's.

I guess I need to look into a new store in the city. At least there I have options for organic and stuff like that.

I never buy anything that has it. Gotta watch DH, though, or he will... he's not as avid a label-reader as I am.
