I have been skimming a while now :) And have a few questions! Hubby and I are starting to eat healthy. I've always tried to buy all natural or organic but honestly I've been slacking...ALOT! My husband is taking a class for college and learned that over 50% of america is obese. Um....AFTER I opened my eyes...WOW, I just didn't notice! So, now this paranoid momma is freaking out! Our family is not obese by any means but we just don't want it to happen. Our kids are VERY VERY VERY VERY.......VERY picky eaters so they don't eat the healthiest all the time!
I always thought I was cooking healthy but there is always room to improve :)
So, I see alot of you don't buy anything with labels. HOW DO YOU DO THAT????
My kids LOVE fish sticks and pop corn shrimp. Does anyone know how to make them from scratch that I can freeze and cook when they want them?
I did learn how to make corndogs and mini corn dogs from scratch and they are YUMMY! But hubbs is wanting to stay away for all pre-processed food. But, I make this yummy tator tot casseroll and don't know how to make those from scratch. Any ideas????
What do you all use in place of cream of chicken or any of the cream of soups? Ok i'm sure I'll more questions :) TIA ladies!!!
