90% of the time, yes...I stick to the plan.  I may change up breakfast or lunch if we've got leftovers or no one's hungry (or if I've forgotten an ingredient.)  Dinners are what I have planned unless we have an unexpected emergency.

I don't care for cooking, and I hate deciding what's for dinner that day even more.  Meal planning takes me 15 to 20 minutes a week and I can't imagine NOT doing it.

That's really awesome you do that for lunch & breakfast as well,
Do you stick pretty much to plan on all three meals for the week ?

Quoting michiganmom116:

Always.  It helps me save money, saves my sanity, and I can see at a glance if I'm missing any nutrients.

Here's this week's plan:

November 11 – 17, 2012

Sunday:
breakfast – breakfast bake, veggie juice
lunch – smoked sausage and veggie stew
dinner - broiled steak, parsnip & mushroom soup, broccoli salad

Monday:
breakfast – breakfast salad, veggie juice
lunch – tuna patties, leftover parsnip & mushroom soup
dinner - Swiss mushroom chicken, salad

Tuesday:
breakfast – hard boiled eggs, grapefruit, veggie juice
lunch – creamy broccoli & ham chowder
dinner - stuffed meatloaf, roasted beets & carrots, salad

Wednesday:
breakfast – veggie hash, poached egg, veggie juice
lunch – liver with caramelized onions, salad
dinner - rosemary chicken & potatoes, green beans

Thursday:
breakfast – hard boiled eggs, grapefruit, veggie juice
lunch – chef salad
dinner - firehouse chili, “corn” muffins

Friday:
breakfast – ham & egg cups, veggie juice
lunch – leftovers/clean out the fridge
dinner - ranch baked tilapia, honeyed carrots, broccoli casserole

Saturday:
breakfast – huevos rancheros, grapefruit, veggie juice
lunch – bratwurst, salad
dinner – pizza on spaghetti squash and/or almond meal crusts

Excellent you stick so close to plan,
am not a fan of cooking either so yes it sure does simplify things.
Anything that makes our lives easier has to be a good thing :)

1 mom liked this

I always do it helps me be more organized, I have a terrible memory so it helps me alot. Also helps save big money, I would say we save $60 a week at the grocery store. I just plan dinner.
