Do you count them everyday or do you just watch what you eat in general?

I've gone both routes. Right now, I watch my calories, because exercise is difficult. Once I am able to exercise again, I'll log for a while, then switch to just watching what I eat. I've lost the weight before without alot of calorie counting, so I know I can do it.
