I feel bad. Whenever we go out and I bring a snack it's dried fruit or nuts of some sort - I vary the nuts and fruits but that's generally the thing we bring. What other healthy things can be prepared quickly (I usually wait till the last minute when I have to get out of the house at a certain time) and kept in the car awhile (preferrably without having to stay cold in a cooler or whatever.) The only other thing I can think of is crackers.

I usually take some type of fruit with me that doesn't require much prep, like tangerines, apples, or bananas. I also like Clif bars for a satisfying "grab & go" snack and I've been known to bake up my own granola/snack bars. I am also fond of go picnic packs for when I need something a bit more substantial than a snack, but won't have time for a whole meal.
I usually grab fruit- bananas and cuties are my favorites for on the go. Pretzels and graham crackers are next.
