I feel bad. Whenever we go out and I bring a snack it's dried fruit or nuts of some sort - I vary the nuts and fruits but that's generally the thing we bring. What other healthy things can be prepared quickly (I usually wait till the last minute when I have to get out of the house at a certain time) and kept in the car awhile (preferrably without having to stay cold in a cooler or whatever.) The only other thing I can think of is crackers.
I usually do nuts and fruit. If I have a cooler pack then I may add low-fat cheese, hummus and a half whole grain pita.
