Barium Swallow: What to expect?

I am going to the hospitals oral rehabilitation department tomorrow to have a barium swallow test done to figure out why food gets stuck in my gullet quite often.

I have no clue waht to expect.  How much barium will I have to drink?  From the sounds of it, hopefully not much since its my esophagus they are looking at.

Any of you done this before?  How was it and what turned up?

How did you turn out?I did this once and ended up almsot throwing up

Oddly enough, the test was canceled.  I went in and the person said this isn't the test that's meant to test for the problems I have :/.  So, we have put this issue in the background for now :/.
