If you have high blood pressure but aren't taking any meds, how are you controlling it?

My dh has high blood pressure and takes meds.It would be great if he could control it w/o them

My father sworn by a mixture of vinegar, garlic and honey..He was able to lower his BP by doing this and watching his diet.
