Essential oils are one of the most important parts of my healthcare. They are also one of my favorite things to give as gifts. I love to share the benefits of pure essential oils with my friends. Especially new moms. How I wish that I had used essential oils during pregnancy, labor and delivery and when my children were small. My life would have been much simpler!Essential oils are amazing and have so many benefits. You don't have to use many drops~ more is not always better. One drop of peppermint oil is equal to 28 cups of peppermint tea.

There are many ways to use essential oils: Rub on the bottom of the feet or different areas of the body (dilute with a carrier oil like coconut oil for children), smell the oil straight from the body, diffuse in a diffuser, put a few drops in a spray bottle.
A valuable resource for moms is Gentle Babies. This is a great book that I use all the time, even though I don't have babies anymore It has information about pregnancy, birth and health issues that you face in childhood and beyond.
My favorite oils to have on hand and to give as gifts are Lavender, Peppermint and Thieves, along with the book, Gentle Babies. There are so many that it is hard to choose, but these are my top ones:
