Really, that depends on how you make them.  If you use Mayo as the prime ingredient, then neither one is going to be "good" in that sense.  LOL

I think my tuna salads are better, because I mince up celery and carrot into mine, whereas with egg salad it only gets a dash of relish.

Good point but there is that *healthier* mayo/olive oil .. doesn't that make a difference then ?

2 moms liked this

Depends.

Is the tuna wild-caught?  Are the eggs from free-range (outdoor) chickens that see the sunlight and feed on their natural omnivore diet?

Are you using mayo or Miracle Whip?  Mayo is much better for you if it's homemade.

What are you adding to it?  Any veggies?

Are you using bread or will you use sliced veggies to eat it?

My favorite is a can of tuna, 1 medium-small diced tomato, and 1 avocado, diced.  Mash together slightly.  Can be eaten as is or (I prefer) on slices of cucumber.

I'll eat both depending on what I'm hungry for.  I get plenty of protein during the day so I'm not TOO concerned about protein content.
