If you like spinach, what's your favorite way to serve it? Do you include it in any recipes?
I love it...My family, not so much. LOL..But, I do "sneak" it in this 8 layer cassrole. Haha..
i love it, everyone else, not soo much, i just make it with tomatoes and onions
We do like spinach, but usually it's raw as the basis for a tossed salad. :)
We like it.
Mostly use it for spinach dip, in our pasta dishes, and salads.
I love spinach. I like it steamed, I like spinach salad, I like making soups with spinach in them as well as making kid friendly easy/smeasy raviolis.
Fun Kid Raviloi's
Take wonton wrappers (you can find them next to the tofu) fill with a mixture of cooked shopped spinach, onion, garlic and ricota, parmesean cheese, & Italian seasoning, add some ground meat to the mixture if you like meat.
Fold the square into a triangle, brushing the edges with raw egg to seal, pressing gently together. Kids like to do the brushing, lol.
Place in a pot of gently rolling water cook till preferred done-ness.
Serve topped with olive oil and parmesan or a light marinara sauce.
Love spinach... salad, dips, sauteed and added to lasagna and other casseroles.
