Separate meals or the same?

Do you make separate meals for you and your husband, then one more 'kid friendly' meal for the kids- or just one big family meal?

I make one big family meal most of the time. My oldest doesn't eat tomatoes or anything made from them, so if I'm a making chili or something, I will make something else for him.

usually one meal unless I know I am making something DD doesnt like...then she has pasta or chicken nuggets...

DH will eat just about anything so he is easy to feed!!

Once they started table food, there was no such thing as separate meals for them - they eat what we eat or they go hungry.

One meal. If they're hungry they will eat.

Usually one, but my youngest and I eat more veggies and less meat and fried foods than hubby and my oldest.

One meal..I'm a mom, not a short order cook.  LOL..

Now, my youngest is 5 and will not do sauces and dips on her food.  So, if I'm making something like bbq chicken, I will keep a plain piece to the side for her.
