With all the day to day hustle and bustle going on in our lives, mealtimes are a great way to have some special one on one time with your family.

We gave 25 moms Vanity Fair Everyday Napkins, Vanity Fair Everyday Plates and a $50 American Express gift card.  We asked them to use the napkins, plates and gift card for their everyday family meal situations - breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, picnics, family bbq, etc. Then, we asked them to share their honest thoughts & opinions about Vanity Fair Everyday Napkins & Vanity Fair Everyday Plates with you. Check out this cool video and the comments on this post to see what they thought!

I have eight kids and no dish washer. I feed ten every night.  We cook meals together, we try to learn about other cultures through their countries cousine.  We also take great pride in  passing down family recipes.  We have decorated our dining room to mimic the country the kids are learning about and then cooked foods from that country.

Is this post for real? How about making the effort to serve food on real plates. It doesn't take much to wash them, you can have the kids do it as a learning lesson. Not to mention the effect on the environment; the manufacturing, the shipping, the recycling or ending up in a land fill. I HATE paper plates, they make me feel like meals are a bother, I or my children are  not worthy of washing a plate for, horrible things.

Dinner is fun at our house. We sit in the dining room, listen to music, chat, it's all good.
