I can't believe that its almost time to start up this thread again! To make sure I'm on track, when does school start for your kiddos. My first lunch packing day will be August 20th.

I just bought one of those insulated bowl things for my boys so they can have soups and warm meals for lunch.

Not yet. But I will be soon. I feel so unprepared.
We don't have a school supply list or room assignment yet. I also still have to call transportation and find out if he's a walker or rides the bus. I will most likely drive him either way, but if he's a walker I'm definitely driving. We will not be walking across the main road, it's to busy.

School starts August 6th here. It will be my first year packing a school lunch so it will be great to hear lunch ideas!

On my son's first day last year I took a picture of the two of us and sealed it in a baggie. I taped it to the inside of his lunch box as a surprise. He LOVED it!
