What's your favorite pasta dish?

Just give me spaghetti. Any and every day of the week. I must've been Italian in a former life. LOL
ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 (28oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 (6oz.) can tomato paste
1 (30oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 (4oz.) can mushrooms
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1-1/2 tsp. oregano
1-1/2 tsp. basil
1 bay leaf
SAUTE' onion and garlic in butter. Add ground beef and brown. Drain and add tomato paste; stir and saute' on med-low heat about 2 minutes for caramelization. Add remaining ingredients.
SIMMER 2 hrs., covered, adding water if necessary. Remove bay leaf and serve over cooked spaghetti.
