Make ham salad sandwiches? Use the bone in bean soup? What else?

Make ham and cheese crescents. I actually have a blog post with the recipe scheduled to publish tomorrow morning. :)

Not a member of this group but this popped up in the sidebar.

I always use the bone in bean soup or split pea soup.

I use about half of what is left for ham salad (mayo, mustard, dill relish, pepper) and we just reheat whatever else is left at dinner or make sandwiches.

I don't honestly know what else you could do with it..... those are my go to options....

Thanks for replying anyway. This is a good group for getting ideas, and I like yours.

I also like to add it to macaroni & cheese or scalloped potatoes.

Oh those are good ideas! Thanks! I had never thought of those :)

I am a member now, I struggle with meal ideas. Glad to have a group to help me with that :)

Couple things. I used some in chicken cordon bleu casserole, on pizzas, in eggs, etc.

It depends on what kind of ham it is. Sometimes I'll use from sandwiches or in casseroles. If there's alot I'll freeze part of it to use at a later date.

Sandwiches or just eat it alone.

We usually dice the majority up for omelets, pizzas, calzones, homemade hot pockets, and scalloped potatoes then some gets sliced thin for breakfast sandwiches to freeze and the bone get used for beans or cabbage soup.
