What are you doing to stay cool?

Are you allowing your child/ren out during peak sub hoirs?

We either swim in our pool, the public pool or we take our boat to the lake.

Pool and water fights. We go outside in the morning and again after dinner.

We are staying inside here too. On the weekends we go to the pits to swim. Our pool sprung a leak. I'm waiting on a replacement from the company, then 3 days after we fill it before we can use it :/

I'm glad it's summer but this heat is killing me.

The pool!!!  Our toddler pool area is pretty well shaded for a majority of the day.  Plus, there's been a little bit of a breeze.  When you are wet from the pool and there is even a slight breeze, that combo is enough to make it bearable!

I am in IL and everyone is freaking out about the heat... but yesterday was 92.  That does not seem all that extreme to me.  People in TX reguarly have days over 100.  They do not all hide in their houses for every hot day, you know?

We hydrate.  We stay cool.

Yes, but some, people have heat sensitivities. I'm one of them. I don't wear a winter coat in winter. I get too hot. Lol
