our school does ice cream social at the local dairy queen. They are a big thing. All they do is get together w/ the parlors owner/mgr and work out a schedule. The owner/mgr usually offers their product at a discount that night as well...as an added bonus.
No to all 3.
it doesn't have to be a dq, any ice cream shop will do. If you have more than 10 people I would call the parlor up and see if they have room and if they offer group discounts though. Any less than that and I wouldn't bother calling them. This way you don't have to buy and deliver the ice cream. Send out an evite or phone call...Lets get together for an Ice cream social at XYZ tue night 5-7, mgmt is offering 5% off..YUM......and you're done. The first one I would try to get confirmations before you call the parlor. If they are going to give a discount they are expecting a good turn out. A poor turnout may turn them off from doing it again.
That sounds fun! Could u do it at a roller rink? I know the skate park near us does them sometimes.
Never planned one.Used to go to them when I was younger.
I have been to one... but never planned one!
