The Veggie Wars
I have three wonderful children that always get along. They like
the same veggies and always eat whatever is put in front of them.
Also? Solid gold eggs fall out of their butts.
We won't talk about the dream I have that involves Ryan Reynolds and whipped cream.
Reality is, no matter what vegetable I fix, two out of three will eat it.
Except for corn I haven't found something they ALL will eat.
And if I have one more conversation that starts, "Last night in the bathroom after I ate the corn......"
*sigh*
PEAS: child 2 & 3 but child 1 will break into a full-body rash
BROCCOLI: child 1 & 3 but child 2 will lapse into a coma
EDEMAME: child 1 & 2 but 3 will suddenly breakdance (it's weird)(I'll make edemame JUST to see her dance)
It really is a never-ending dilemma to find a vegetable that will satisfy every child without feeling like I'm a short order cook.
Do you think it's better to just feed the majority the best you can or is there a magic food out there I can fix?

My dd loves most veggies. Our rule is you have to try everything on your plate before you "decide" you don't like it.

I only have one child so I make sure to prepare the vegetables that he likes.

I say just feed the majority the best you can.But my child probably hasn`t eaten veggies since he quit eating baby food.

- Definitely feed the majority. One veggie that all my kids like is potatoes. Yum :)

DS has slacked off on a lot of his veggies lately, he can do that for now, but when he's older it will change.

Feed the majority the best you can. :)
Or, cover everything in gravy. Kids like gravy, right?

My child will eat any vegetable, but hubby only eats green beans and corn. Thank God for single serving size frozen veggies!
