Slow Cooker Beef Stew with Button Mushrooms
Alright, moms. This is a super tasty slow cooker meal for the cooler months, and it couldn't be easier! Just throw all of these items in a slow cooker, turn it on, and voilá, deliciousness. Now, if our temperatures would stop soaring in southern California, I could enjoy this in the near future. Fingers crossed!
Slow Cooker Beef Stew with Button Mushrooms
10 medium new potatoes , halved
1 white onion , chopped
4 carrots , peeled and sliced
1 cup sliced button mushrooms
1 28-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 14.5 ounce can beef broth
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound beef stew meat
[1] Add all ingredients except beef to slow cooker and mix well to combine, then stir in beef.
[2] Cover and cook on low until vegetables and beef are tender, 8 to 9 hours.
This stew is perfect with warm, buttered cornbread. Soeaking of, do you have any favorite homemade corn bread recipes?

This looks so delicious. Few pictures make me want to jump through the screen to have a bite, but the picture above just does it. It sounds pretty simple to make as well.

Sounds pretty good, still hot here in Florida, but still feel like having stew and chili.
