The Table: Where Our Family Comes Together
We have three kids.
Age 13, 10 and 7.
Because of these three kids our table has been front and center in our family for years.
It was where we gathered to celebrate.

It's where we napped.

It was where we taught the kids to attack with their kung-fu. HI-YAAA

We've eaten our meals there and had our conversations, but we have done so much more at that table.
We did school projects,
We drew art .
There were countless glue sticks and markers.
There were shin guards worn.
There was fingernail polish aplied.
There were bandaids placed on imaginary wounds.
The table was a base for a fort.
It was the "home" for a rousing game of tag.
It has been a fairy woodland, a battlefield and the jungle wilds.
It was the first place our kids played Uno, Sorry and Monopoly.
In retrospect, the meals served there are the least important things thst have taken place some days.
WHAT GREAT MEMORIES HAVE YOU BUILT AROUND YOUR TABLE?

A birthday party where my bestfriend told the kids to scream happy birthday and they did. Imagine 20 8 year olds screaming at the top of their lungs happy birthday LOL.

Sad to say we have not had a table. We don't have the space nor do we have a dining room. I can't wait to get a house, so I can have a table. Cute kids.
