100 Days of Pinterest - Day 11

Ok ok! I'm a slacker and I know it. But hey! I was on vacation and my grandfather literally has NO INTERENET! Even the 3G on my phone dissapeared! Its a good thing we were busy and I had a new book to read.

On to Pinterest posts! You ready??

Lunchbox Cupboard

Lunchbox Cupboard: the kids pack their lunches... pick one from each drawer (fruit, granola bars, snacks, desserts, drinks) The parent chooses what goes in the drawer, but the child learns to make their own choice of what to eat. this is an interesting idea

What a great idea and so easy to put together! Each drawer has a different lunchtime item such as Side Snack, Sandwich, Drink, Fruit, Veggie, etc etc. This way kiddo's get to learn how to pack their own lunch but parents still get to decide what to goes in it!

I thought this was a great love and logic example!

Love it if my older 2 boys wouldn't raid it every 5 mins. I have a stash of snacks hidden to put in the diaper bag for my 2 yr old for ball games

thats a good idea I think it would be a bit space consuming though if you were in a place like I am!!

Hmm I imagine you would make the sandwiches day of or before for kiddo to choose and then put them in the drawer before they go to pack their lunch. The exercise is really more about teaching them to pack their lunch for themselves.
