Your traffic lights

Weird question, but, how are they set up?

Most of them in my area (MI) are set up where they strung a cable diagonally across the intersection, and hang lights from it. I hate it. I hate having to scrunch down in my seat, our lean way forward just to see for out to change.

Back home, all the lights are mounted on solid poles or posts and across the intersection from you, as well as on your side. No scrunching to see. so much nicer. They don't away back and forth as if they might fall either.

What are yours like?

They redid ours and put better lighting at the intersections and all the lights are on solid poles now.

We have both.  Some suspend over the intersection, others are on actual light poles.  Depends on where exactly you are in the city!
