Do your kids help cook in the kitchen?

Occasionally I let Dd help me cook in the kitchen. She's only 1 so it's really more like exploring whatever ingredients I'm using at the time in a sensory bottle. 

When she's older I'll let her help me do other things!

Do you let your kids help in the kitchen? What are they allowed to help with?

They do. DD can cook whatever she wants, full on dinner, dessert, whatever. She's twelve. DS is just two so he dumps ingredients in and stirs.

Absolutely. I find DS eats better when he does : )

my oldest absolutely, he loves to help as does my 2 year old. my youngest just eats.

My kids don't help with everyday cooking but my sons like to bake with me.

My dd is not at all domestic, lol.

My son, every once in a great while, can help to mix stuff. He has a habit of doing something he shouldn't when he's "helping" and no one wants boogers, sneezes, coughs, or spit in their food!

DD likes to bake but not really cook. DS is 3 and is starting to wanna help so I let him stir things and crack eggs

Yes, Keira does.  I use the food processer alot, and she always helps me load it up and turn it on.  I even let her up at the stove on occasion.

They are 2 and 3. And I sometimes let them help me mix, hand me ingredients, put things in the bowl, or I give them their own utensils and let them "pretend" to cook with me. They love helping me cook.

Yes Anjolyna is 2 but she gets to get spoons out and bowls ( she has her own drawer and a cabinet thats all plastic bowls) sometimes she gets to mix things and I let her dump the stuff in the bowl.....sometimes we hit sometimes we miss lol

He does take out pans and bang them while I cook.
