*update*
It was a bit yeasty but edible i need to make another good batch we are looking fir easy foods to eat while traveling.

I accidentally added too much yeast. We will see how it turns out. It's English muffin bread. Usually pretty good. I figured it would be a good breakfast bread.

Recipe...
English muffin bread

1 pkg dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1.5 tsp oil
5 cups flour
Yellow cornmeal

1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the cornmeal. Stir in 2 cups hit tap water and mix thoroughly. Tightly cover bowl and let stand at room temp for at least 6 hours or overnight. Dough may double and fall, but that is okay.

2. Butter two 7x3 inch loaf pans. Sprinkle lightly with cornmeal, turning to coat evenly. Shake out excess.

3. Punch down dough; divide in half. Shape into two loaves, as best as you can (dough will be sticky) and place in pans. Cover an let rise until about doubled, about 1.5 hours.

4. Bake 60 minutes or until golden brown and bread tests done. Remove from pans and cool on rack. Makes two loaves.

We shall find out. The recipe calls for it to rise six hours.

I will. It still has three and a half hours of rising yet to go.

Oops.. What if you just don't let out rise as long?

And, are you willing to share your recipe? Lol

I can share it but it might be a bit. I have to type it up on my phone since we don't have Internet. I'll work on it though.

I'm to the point where I buy big jars of yeast. I need it for my pizza dough so it is always in the house. Comes in handy.

I added the recipe, I used honey instead of sugar. I like honey and use it often. I accidentally used too much yeast but we shall see.
