Don't want to eat dinner? Then no....

Posted by   + Show Post

My son blatently refused to eat his dinner. The spew of, "I don't wike dis. I want something to dip this in. I want apples. I don't want... I want..."

so, when he decided that dumping his drink because he wanted to goof around, was a great idea, I sent him off. I guess he doesn't want any apple, ice cream, or the tv. His dinner will be saved for tomorrow night. I'm getting tired of his antics of not wanting to eat what is given for dinner, for who knows what reason.

Does anyone else do this?

If it was something new that he'd never 'liked' before, I'd let him have a pb&j in it's place. But, I've made my pork chops many times before, and he's eaten them too.

DS is going through this stage and basically I just let the meal sit there. He has no choice but to eat it if he's hungry

I save their dinner and if they are hungry later I will heat it up. Unless i know they dont like it, not everyone has to like the same thing.
But so far all my kids have done that. The baby is next lol
