What's made you smile today?

I get to hang out with my best friend!! I never get to see her, and we're finally going out to do something with our kids. Oh, and Miah was singing Red Hot Chili Peppers on the potty (my favorite band) so that made me smile.

A friend of mine takes her kiddo, Asher, to this daycare at the college and they want to talk to me about a job there. So I'm gonna swing by today after Dh gets off of work and chat to them about it. The best part about this job? Lead teachers get free daycare so I could work there full time AND take Claire with me. 

The worst part? I haven't exactly parted on good terms with any of my bosses. Ever. And that usually prevents me from getting a job because I'm fairly certain the boss from my last job is doing her darndest to keep me from working in childcare ever again. So, I have to explain to new bosses I'm not as terrible as I'm sure she's (illegally) making me out to be.

I was in the basement watching tv and I heard what I thought was my 2 year old dd laughing. But I thought it couldn't be she has been in bed for 2 hours. So I go upstairs to see what it was, it was actually my 2 year old dd. she heard daddy talking to his friends on Xbox and he let her sit with hi while he played. :-) normally I would be a little upset because bed time means bedtime, but she did not get to see him at all today because he left for work before she got up and didn't get back until after she was in bed.

 I stumbled across a used scoot which is what my niece keeps saying she wants for her birthday. I ordered a little pink vinyl so I can make it a little more girlie but it made me excited :)
