Washed a significant amount of clothing (or diapers) by hand?

Most houses have just one washer, and I'm included in those, lol. I have Baby Boy's new diapers in my wash machine right now and I need to get my daughter's diapers washed up, so I'm doing them by hand in the bath tub. It's currently filling with cold water for the pre-wash rinse to get the general ickies out of it. This will be fun, and different! lol

Thankfully i haven't had to do it in years but when i was a single mom of 3 kids on aid i didn't always have the money to go to wash them.So i would wash them in the bathtub then hang them anywhere i could in my house. I hope i never have to do that again.

My washer stopped working one time and it had pretty much all of Adelyn's diapers in it! (Back then I had a small stash lol). So I had to wash ALL of them by hand... or foot? I would use the end of the broom to "agitate" the wash then stomp on them before wringing them out by hand. It was such a tedious process! But they still came out clean :)
