Amusement parks??

I'm taking my 5 year old to an amusement park tomorrow. :) It's for her birthday, and it's a very kid friendly park. What kinds of things should we take with us? So far I'm taking,

  • Beach towels
  • extra clothes (to keep in the car)
  • Sunglasses
  • Ziplock bags (for phones, and money)

The park offers free sunscreen.

Ooh! What park is this? I've never heard of an amusement park offering free sunscreen.

We have a Christmas themed amusement park where we live that's kid friendly too.

I would take extra snacks, camera, extra memory card, nice bag that won't have stuff falling out!

It's called Holiday World. We live in southern Indiana. They offer free sunscreen, free soft drinks (water and gatorade included), free intertubes and free parking. It's amazing, expecially for the little ones. My dd is only missing out on 5 rides in the whole park because she's just 4 inches shy of the height requirement. :)

Camera is a def! Maybe a nice water-proof disposable if urs is bulky or can't get wet. If ur DD is a picky eater I'd pack a pb& j sandwhich & some of her fav snacks just in case she decides she doesn't want what the park offers for food. I run into this prob a LOT w/ my DD.

Today is the day. She's officially 5 years old! I'm waking her up with a gift and then we're getting dressed and heading to get breakfast. Pancakes are her favorite... :) then maybe I won't have to worry about her not eating so much at the park.
